CONSTRUCTION
In terms of construction, although simple to set up, it took a long time to reach a material resolution. Test after test of material in terms of tactile qualities and how it responds to image projection. Finding good materials wasn’t the issue, finding good quality materials that were thin enough to let the image pass through was where it got tedious.
Once we had chosen our desired materials we then had to organise and plan in what order they went in. This wasn’t too difficult as the form simply followed what the projectors demanded. If the material didn’t let enough image bleed through, we would swap the fabrics until a constructed resolution had come out of it.

Exhibiton set up
With setting up Double vision, both location and style differed, with it going from the corridor of floor 4 to a room in the master student’s studio and so on. In the end we settled with the master student’s studio, as it was both spacious and reasonably dark, not to mention the corridor was a safety hazard as the exhibition would have blocked the fire exit. The studio space was the perfect location for Double Vision as it came pre-loaded with wire to hang the fabrics on and had plenty of space for user interaction.
